Our Story
I have been teaching yoga for nearly a decade now. During one of the trips to Rishikesh, I came across a vibrant pink yoga mat carry bag adorned with the seven chakras. Unfortunately, the bag faded quickly, and the threads started to thin out within a month, with the chakras not printed accurately in terms of petals and colors. Nonetheless, I loved the concept.
When I had the chance to create gifts for my students involved in the Surya Namaskar Challenge, I decided to design these curated yoga bags; Chakra Bags. However, I couldn’t find suitable images online for printing the seven chakras, so I opted to sketch them myself. We used high-quality canvas cotton with a higher GSM to ensure durability.
To enhance functionality, we made sure the bags were spacious enough to accommodate yoga props, such as yoga straps, as well as a water bottle and an umbrella for rainy days. I noticed many people heading to yoga studios with their yoga mats and wallets, which can be quite a hassle. Therefore, we included an outer pocket to eliminate the need for an extra bag.
